Primula vialli 'Rose and Red’
(Primrose)
‘Rose and Red’ brings unusual color and vertical interest to shaded gardens with upright flower spikes covered in deep red buds. The flowers open gradually from the bottom of each spike, revealing soft pink to lavender blooms and creating a striking two-tone effect.
Its narrow, upright habit makes it easy to tuck into woodland gardens, shaded borders, and mixed perennial plantings. Pair it with Ferns, Hostas, Brunnera, and other shade-loving plants where its colorful flower spikes can rise above lower foliage.
