Prunus pumila First Editions® ‘Jade Parade’ – Sand Cherry

‘Jade Parade’ is a low-growing Sand Cherry with a spreading, arching habit and glossy blue-green foliage. In spring, the stems are covered with small white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by small black cherries in late summer that provide food for wildlife.

In fall, the foliage develops shades of yellow, orange, and red for added seasonal color. Once established, this adaptable shrub is drought tolerant and works especially well on slopes, banks, dry sites, and other sunny areas where a spreading groundcover shrub is useful.
