‘Bertram Anderson’ forms compact rosettes of narrow, dark green leaves marked with silver spots. Deep blue flowers rise above the foliage on 6-inch stems in early spring, often beginning in March.
This low-growing perennial performs well in woodland gardens, shaded borders, and beneath trees or shrubs. Its patterned foliage continues to provide interest after flowering has finished.
