Pulsatilla vulgaris ‘Red Bell’ – Pasque Flower
‘Red Bell’ is an early-blooming perennial with large, rich red flowers that appear in early to mid-spring. The blooms rise above finely divided, fern-like foliage, bringing welcome color to the garden at the start of the growing season.
After flowering, decorative feathery seed heads develop and remain attractive for several weeks, extending the plant’s seasonal interest. Its compact habit makes it especially well suited to the front of borders, rock gardens, and naturalized plantings.
Pasque flower grows best in sunny locations with well-drained soil and requires little care once established.
