Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'
Winner of the 2012 RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Caradonna' is a compact, upright perennial featuring aromatic gray-green foliage and dark purple stems topped with dramatic spikes of violet-blue flowers in late spring to early summer. The long-lasting blooms provide strong vertical interest and striking color in garden borders. Drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and highly attractive to pollinators including butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
