Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’
Add bold vertical color to sunny borders with this compact, upright Salvia. Dark purple stems are topped with spikes of violet-blue flowers from late spring into early summer, creating strong contrast against aromatic gray-green foliage.
‘Caradonna’ is valued for its long-lasting blooms, tidy habit, and pollinator appeal. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are drawn to the flowers, while deer typically leave the aromatic foliage alone. Its drought tolerance also makes it a dependable choice for sunny borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator plantings.
