Salvia nemorosa 'East Friesland'
(Syn: S. n. 'Ostfriesland) Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Salvia 'East Friesland' is noted for its compact form and long lasting blooming season. Round clumps of light green, aromatic foliage with purple stems bear rich violet-purple flowers that contrast with pink bracts in early summer and last throughout the summer season. Drought tolerant, deer resistant and a magnet for butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Full sun. 1-2'x 1-2', Z4-8.
