Salvia nemorosa ‘Noble Knight’
‘Noble Knight’ produces deep blue to purple flower spikes from late spring through summer. The upright blooms rise above compact, well-branched foliage, creating a tidy plant with strong color and vertical interest.
Its smaller size makes it well suited for the front of sunny borders, pollinator gardens, pathways, and containers. The flowers attract butterflies and other pollinators, while deer typically leave the aromatic foliage alone.
Salvia performs best in full sun and well-drained soil. Removing spent flower spikes can encourage additional blooms later in the season.
