Thymus serphyllum 'Elfin'
(Creeping Thyme) Dwarf, aromatic sub-shrub forming a tight cushion of tiny, rounded, hairy, gray-green leaves. Blooms profusely from early to midsummer featuring clusters of tiny, lavender-pink flowers. The aromatic leaves make an excellent filler between stepping stones, releasing fragrance when trod upon. Makes a nice alpine plant. Full sun. 2-3", Z4-9.
