A dwarf, aromatic perennial grown primarily as a culinary herb. Forms a low, cushion-like mound of branching woody stems with small, ovate dark gray-green leaves. Terminal spikes of tiny white or pink tubular flowers appear in late spring to early summer. Versatile and attractive, this thyme works well in herb gardens, borders, or containers.
