‘Miyazaki’ is a shade-loving perennial with white, lily-like flowers heavily spotted in purple and black. The detailed blooms appear late in the season, bringing color and texture to shaded areas when many other perennials are beginning to fade.

Blooming from late September through October, this variety is especially useful in woodland gardens, shaded borders, and other part- to full-shade plantings. Its upright habit adds height without overwhelming neighboring plants.

The unusual spotted flowers are best appreciated where they can be viewed up close, making ‘Miyazaki’ a good choice along shaded paths, near patios, or toward the front of woodland-style plantings.
