Uvularia grandiflora                                                                                                                (Large-flowered Bellwort)  North American native. One of the first woodland flowers to emerge in spring. Leaves form attractive vase-shaped clumps with distinctive, drooping bell-shaped yellow flowers that bloom in mid-late spring. Unlike so many spring wildflowers which go dormant after blooming, uvularia are interesting throughout the summer. They become more erect after flowering and start to look more like Solomon’s Seal. 12-18". Z3-9.
