(Perfoliate Bellwort) This elegant woodland native perennial has soft yellow bell-shaped flowers that appear in May. The flower stems seem to arise from the center of the leaves, appearing to pierce them. Makes a perfect addition to a moist, shaded location. 6-12", Z4-8.
