Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Blueray’ (Blueray Blueberry)
A vigorous, upright blueberry bush, ‘Blueray’ produces large, firm berries starting in early July, yielding up to 20 pounds per plant. Foliage turns a striking burgundy-red in fall, adding seasonal interest. Prefers slightly acidic soil in full sun and fruits on new growth, so pruning a third of old wood in early spring is recommended. Plant multiple varieties for best pollination and fruit set.
