Vaccinium corymbosum 'Blueray'

Starting in early July, 'Blueray' can produce up 20 pounds of large, firm berries per bush! This vigorous, upright native plant grows to 4 ft tall and 6 ft wide, and puts on a spectacular show of burgundy-red fall foliage color. Blueberries like a slightly acidic soil in full sun and produce fruit on new growth so prune out a third of old growth in early spring. For best fruit set, plant more than one variety. Hardy to zone 4.
