Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Northland’ — Highbush Blueberry
One of the hardiest and most compact highbush blueberries available, Northland is a dependable, easy-to-grow native shrub that produces abundant crops on a dense, rounded form. In spring, its delicate May flowers provide essential nectar for native bees and butterflies. Summer fruit attracts songbirds and other wildlife—sometimes so many that you’ll have to race them for the berries!
Tolerant of dry, acidic, and poorer soils, Northland performs well even in partial shade and finishes the season with a stunning display of purplish-red fall foliage.
