Fieldstone Gardens is a family-owned and operated business started in 1984 on the site of the 280-acre farm. Since then, it has developed into a leading retail perennial plant nursery, shipping throughout the United States. We offer more than 1,000 varieties of hardy northern grown perennials for sun, shade, rock gardens, and ground covers. We have many unusual, hard to find plants and we specialize in Currier McEwen and D. Cole's sought-after Siberian Iris hybrids. Stroll through a combined 30 acres of display gardens and nursery beds featuring perennial borders, shade gardens and specimen trees and shrubs. Our gift shop offers a fine selection of garden accessories and gifts. We are located about 15 miles between Augusta and Waterville, Maine.

Packed With Care!

All plants are shipped freshly dug or from containers, depending upon
the season. Our perennials are grown outside (zone 5) so foliage and
dormancy will mirror conditions at the nursery.

We take great pride in our careful packaging techniques. We use fresh sphagnum peat moss fibers harvested right here. With the perfect shipping environment our bare rooted plant systems arrive fresh and ready to be planted in your garden.

We now ship all summer, April to November, weather dependent. Orders shipped in April may be dormant. Please understand dormant plants have minimal or no top growth, but we assure roots are established. During the hottest parts of the summer, we will pause shipping. Notifications will be posted here and on Social Media.

Due to their growth habits, peonies are only shipped in the fall, beginning in September (weather dependent). Orders can be place anytime and will be held until fall shipping
